Fiber Fair Photos

say that title three times fast ! hah! This was the beginning of Madrona Fiber Arts Festival
We are still in 'recovery' mode, but I thought I'd start off with a few photos.. you know, the kind that shouts.."Wish you were here". (grin)

we went from this:

to this:

(and it only took about 6 1/2 hours to set up!)

After the set was done (and every evening after the classes and vendor market closed) we could be seen hanging out with friends in the hotel lobby. There were small groups of people like this everywhere. These photos were early on into one evening. By the time 11pm rolled around, there were about 30 of us hanging out in each small group. I wish I had gotten more photos of everyone together, but I was having too much fun playing to be serious with my camera :-) It was fabulous! Wish you'd been there too!

Oh MAN I wish I had been there! It looks amazing... Mayhaps I will manage to get to a real fiber-gettogether someday... Hope it went well for you!

It was great getting to see you two at the show and of course visiting after the market closed. You have such lovely items in your booth. I'll have fun spinning the "Brown Eyed Girl" and thinking about the weekend.

I wish I had been there, too! That *after* party looks great. But 2,000 miles is a bit too far, even for great yarn...

Oh! Look how pretty and organized it was before the spinners and knitters got to it! :D Myself included, of course. I picked up two of your corriedale pencil roving and some BFL. Your booth was beautiful, with so many choices. Beautiful pics as well!

Wow, your booth was very well organized! I wish I had been there, it would have been total sensory overload! It sounds like the after parties were so much fun. Good friends, good wine and good yarn, what more could we ask for?

Damn, that looks like fun. And I can't even imagine how fabulous it would be to see all your stuff in one spot and be able to touch it, too!

Holy canoli! It looks wonderful. Good thing I couldn't go, else I'd still be trying to decide what to get. Or dragging a ten gallon container behind me. :-)

I really wish I was there. My friend was complaining the other day that there are no fiber events near us until MDS&W. It's way too far away. Madrona looks amazing.

See, if I had been there, I would have snuck a bunch of stuff into a big pile and then jumped into it like you would leaves in the fall! I don't know how you keep your head about you being around all that beautiful stuff every day!

It looks like you had a wonderful time--I'm so jealous.

Did you see the way I averted my eyes from your booth? I let myself poke things through the back part of the fence.

2 points for self control.
